Applications of aluminum foil in the daily life
2018-03-13

Aluminum foil is usually used for food in daily life. When grilling, it is used to wrap bean sprouts, potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc. for grilling to prevent them from burning. Sometimes it is used for decoration. Modern aluminum foil is made of aluminum and can also be used as an aluminum electrode for electrolysis. There are also hair stylists who use perm for the perm. Some people also used aluminum foil to absorb the oil in the soup. Aluminum foil is also widely used for insulation, heat exchange, and as a conductor. Usually, the thickness of the aluminum foil in the food packaging package and food packaging bag is only 6.5 microns.  This thin layer of aluminum can be waterproof, maintain umami, anti-bacterial and anti-fouling. The consumption of aluminum foil in China has increased year by year, and consumption is second only to the United States. This shows that there is ample room for development in this area of the market in China.

1, cigarette packaging foil
China is the world’s largest consumer of cigarettes, and it is also a big country for cigarette production. At present, China has 146 large-scale cigarette factories that annually produce 34 million large boxes of cigarettes. Basically, they use cigarette foil wrappers. However, with the impact of imported cigarettes and the improvement of the meaning of national health, the demand for cigarette packaging foil has decreased significantly compared with previous years. At present, there is still a gap between the quality of aluminum foil produced in China and the international level. However, with the improvement of the technological level, two or three companies in China have been able to produce high-quality tobacco foil. The level of technology is no less than international standards.
2,Decorative foil
The aluminum foil used for decoration is a decorative material applied in the form of aluminum-plastic composites, fully exhibiting the characteristics of colorability and light-heat reflectiveness, and the demand for decorative foils has increased rapidly in recent years. It is mainly used for the decoration of buildings and furniture. In our country, the demand has increased substantially, the development speed is rapid, and the prospects are good.
3, cable foil
By using the product's tightness and shielding properties, aluminum-plastic composite foils, which are coated with plastic films, are used as protective covers for cables. Domestic advanced cold rolling mill, aluminum foil rough rolling mill and 10,000 mill can all be produced, but the market development is poor. The annual demand in China is about 25,000 tons. Aluminum foil companies need to fully meet the needs of market users in their production and operation, and combine users' feedback on products to innovate and develop more practical new materials in order to win over users.
But here we need to remind everyone that it is very important to use aluminum foil. It is necessary to check whether there is a qualified mark before use, and at the same time it should be noted that tin foil cannot be reused. Foil can not be used to heat acidic substances, because acid foods, such as sour pepper and vinegar, which are often used in Chinese foods, lead to the dissolution of lead in aluminum foil, causing excessive levels of heavy metals in foods.
